Stacy Gilbert, MSEd, is a 7-12 school librarian in Fairfax County Public Schools in VA. She earned her bachelor’s in secondary education from Gordon College in Wenham, MA, and her master’s of secondary education, with a concentration in school librarianship, from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Gilbert was a classroom math teacher for nine years before finding her true calling in the library. She received the Dickinson Award from the Virginia Association of School Librarians as well as the Library Graduate of the Year Award from Old Dominion University. Find her on Twitter at @MamaGilbsLib.
Stacy is also a proud native of Nashville, TN and fan of the Boston Red Sox. When not reading young-adult books, she enjoys traveling to new places and generally nerding out. She lives in Northern VA with her wife, who tries (often unsuccessfully) to get her to occasionally adult.
